Our History

Mariza Tassy, the shop in Milan that overlooks the Parco delle Basiliche, is a true “walk-in closet of desires”.
The name is that of the grandmother of Lella and Paola Rigante, the owners of the shop, a charming French-Turkish lady who designed elegant evening dresses in Istanbul in the early 1900s and who passed on to her granddaughters an undisputed sixth sense for fashion that led the two sisters to create an all-female boutique that bore, in her honor, their name.

The space is dominated by an alternation of cream, gold and aquamarine where the clothes blend into one with the decorations by Idarica Gazzoni that give the walls a touch of poetry, like the exposed beams that immersed in the aquamarine recall a glimpse of the sky. The bright counter contains highly selected bijoux and accessories that complement the clothes displayed on the walls. The common thread that links the image of Mariza Tassy season after season is the incessant search for new proposals by young creatives, who then invariably find a place among the most established brands, between Italy and abroad and which each season are joined by the Mariza Tassy line designed by Lella.

The result of this meeting: a very feminine and casual collection, colorful and subtly ironic where anyone can find the right dress for themselves for any occasion.
From brands loved by cool Paris like Isabel Marant, to the now cult T-shirts and ready-to-wear dresses of Velvet, to the soft lines of Forte_Forte, and again Mes Demoiselles and many other new brands discovered here and there around the world to satisfy all the tastes of their customers. Accessories are an extremely important and varied corollary always evolving, there are the ballerinas of L'Arianna, the Friulane of Drogheria Crivellini, but also the wonderful hats of Grevi and the jewels of Viola Pisenti.
